Overview of On-Chain Coordination
The Arcium Network uses programs running on the Solana blockchain to orchestrate and manage the state of the Network. These on-chain programs handle the registration and configuration of Arx nodes on the Network, the processing, ordering and scheduling of Computations, all Network finances including payments and rewards, as well as the economics of Arx node security, including staking and slashing. Arx nodes can be thought of as off-chain workers, with the on-chain Arcium Network programs functioning as the organisational hub, collecting Computations in its on-chain mempools, designating them out to Clusters of Arx nodes for execution, and then handling the results and payments.
